Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver vital therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, enhancing their mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students' mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to students' needs and abilities.
- Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to enhance motor skills, range of motion, and functional independence.
- Provide direct one-on-one and group therapy sessions as appropriate.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and team members to integrate therapy goals into educational plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document therapy sessions and progress accurately and timely.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights regarding students' therapy needs.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy.
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric physical therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in teletherapy or online counseling preferred.
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology in physical therapy preferred.
