Clinical Nurse Specialist - CVICU

MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) - CVICU to provide expert clinical leadership for a prestigious healthcare facility near San Francisco, CA

Key Responsibilities for the Clinical Nurse Specialist - CVICU:
  • Serve as a clinical leader in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, guiding advanced practice and improving critical care outcomes.
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shifts
  • Mentor nursing staff and lead comprehensive training and orientation programs to enhance skills and clinical competencies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices and optimize CVICU protocols.
  • Spearhead quality improvement projects to advance patient care standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Design and execute innovative clinical programs and initiatives, focusing on staff development and patient education.
  • Act as an advocate and liaison for patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure superior care delivery.
Clinical Nurse Specialist - CVICU Qualifications:
  • CNS Certification required.
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience training staff and conducting nursing orientation programs.
  • Relevant CVICU experience required.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) licensure in California (or eligibility for licensure).
