Note: This Engineering role can be filled at the Entry, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer level. Please see the minimum qualifications for each level below.
Compensation Ranges:
- Entry-Level: $85,000
- Mid-Level: $90,000 - $111,000
- Senior Level: $118,000 - $150,000
The ranges mentioned above are annual figures based on experience and come with a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses and 401K.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical guidance for developing, managing, and implementing engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Offer technical consultation and support as a subject matter expert to address and resolve equipment and system challenges.
- Lead engineering and technical initiatives that influence site operations, both short-term and long-term.
- Carry out engineering tasks as directed by supervisors, applying engineering principles effectively.
- Ensure the precision, completeness, and punctuality of work by adhering to proper configuration management and established design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
- Propose new equipment, concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or adhere to evolving codes or regulations.
- Fulfill additional job responsibilities as assigned by management, which may include emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support for outage activities outside the department.
Minimum Qualifications for Entry-Level Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
- Ability to meet minimum access or unescorted access requirements, as necessary, along with a favorable medical examination and/or testing relevant to job duties.
Minimum Qualifications for Mid-Level Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with a minimum of 2 years of nuclear or relevant engineering experience.
- Capability to maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements, as needed, and favorable medical examination/testing as per job responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications for Senior Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with at least 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
- Ability to maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements, as required, and a favorable medical evaluation/testing pertinent to job duties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer Registration.
- Previous Nuclear Licensing/Regulatory Experience is HIGHLY Preferred.
