Job Description

As a Routing Automation Engineer, you will design and implement, automation tools that manage gateway route configurations using Go, Terraform and Harness. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these tools with existing systems, ensure robust validation and testing, and deliver a seamless user experience through self-serve portals and dashboards. Your work will directly impact the scalability, reliability, and auditability of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Develop Automation: Build Terraform providers/resources that manage YAML-based route configurations, leveraging existing Go code for validation and marshaling.

Integrate with Git: Use Harness to automate Git operations (commit, push, conflict handling) to ensure all changes are version-controlled and auditable.

Enable Self-Service: Develop UI/UX flows (portals, dashboards) and integrate with ticketing systems to provide a smooth user experience for route changes.

Testing & Validation: Write unit and integration tests for automation modules, and ensure robust validation of route configurations.

Documentation & Support: Create clear documentation, usage examples, and support materials for both developers and end-users.
