Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Preparing and coordinating the operating room to assist in surgical procedures
  • Upholding sterile fields and strict adherence to infection control measures
  • Passing instruments and necessary supplies to surgeons and their assistants
  • Managing surgical technology before, during, and after procedures
  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring all supplies are ready for each surgery
  • Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthetists, and surgical personnel
  • Maintaining precise surgical counts and documentation to ensure accuracy
Education Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
Certifications Needed:
  • Possession of a current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required
  • BLS certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days post-hire
