Role Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, ongoing care for patients of all ages, from children to seniors.
- Address chronic conditions, preventive health, acute diseases, and mental health issues with a patient-centered approach.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and create tailored treatment plans.
- Work alongside care coordinators, behavioral health specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Engage in quality improvement projects to enhance patient experiences and healthcare outcomes.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to maintain precise and timely documentation.
- Provide care both in-person and through telemedicine to best meet patient preferences and needs.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical institution.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine.
- Eligible for (or currently possess) an active District of Columbia medical license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills focused on preventive and proactive healthcare.
- Comfortable with value-based care models and motivated by continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Tech-savvy with experience navigating EMRs and telehealth platforms.
