Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant to support the delivery of rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities to help improve strength, flexibility, and overall physical independence.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities.
- Observe and document patient performance, reporting progress or concerns to the supervising PT.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise routines and safe movement strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient responses.
- Ensure therapy areas and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Promote a positive, encouraging environment to support patient motivation and progress.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Experience in rehabilitation or therapy settings preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
- Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and support patients with compassion and professionalism.
