Oxford Solutions is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our client's industrial engineering team. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse industrial and manufacturing projects.

We're open to candidates with 1 to 15 years of experience. EIT or PE certification is a plus.

About the Role
In this role, you'll perform and lead civil/structural design and analysis for a variety of industrial projects. You'll prepare engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates while ensuring designs meet applicable codes and company standards. This position involves a mix of design, field observation, and coordination with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural design and analysis using current codes and standards
  • Prepare and/or modify engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Develop conceptual and schematic layouts
  • Review shop drawings and construction documents
  • Coordinate work with architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams
  • Conduct field investigations to document existing conditions and verify measurements
  • Research design options and provide technical recommendations
  • Participate in client and internal project meetings
  • Provide input to project cost estimates and proposals
  • Use CAD and design software to produce engineering documentation
  • Mentor and guide Designers/Drafters as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural focus preferred)
  • 1 to 15 years of civil/structural design experience in industrial projects
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and structural design codes
  • Proficiency with STAAD.Pro or equivalent analysis software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CAD tools
  • EIT or PE license preferred
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
