You are in luck because Always Best Care of Greater Lexington has openings for new Care Team Members to help us provide fantastic solutions for seniors and their families. We have a variety of shift times, days, and locations available with amazing seniors in their homes, helping them to stay safe and happy. Need more information? Here are some more great thingsabout working for us: We offer comprehensive paid training, flexible schedules, weekly pay with direct deposit, weekend shift premiums, bonus programs, opportunities for advancement, and paid time off that starts accumulating from your first day If this all sounds good to you so far, here is what will make you a great fit for our team: * Being growth oriented, and eager to grow in skills and responsibility * Being a team player, eager to give back and be supported in return * Being a professional, respectful, skilled, and making a difference * Operating with Integrity, being part of a company and team that is transparent and ethical in all dealings * Being compassionate, wanting to give care to others who need our support Typical job responsibilities may include any of the following: * Hands on personal care including assistance with ambulation, transfers, toileting, bathing, grooming, etc. * Assistance with exercise, therapies, and enrichment activities * Light housework * Meal preparation * Medication Reminders * Transportation to appointments and social outings * Other duties as assigned Successful applicants will meet the following criteria: * Be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in theU.S. * Be a State Registered Nurse Aide or have an equivalent level of experience and training. (If you do not have experience, apply anyway - we love to train new care team members in the Always Best Care Way) * Possess a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation * Have good communication skills including verbal and written and must be fluent in speaking in English * Be willing and able to pass a drug test and criminal background check * Be physically able to care for another human as demonstrated by the ability to stand for long periods of time and to carry 35 lbs a distance of 25 ft multiple times per day.
