Our client, a leading organization in the retail and logistics industry, is seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Associates to join their team. As a Seasonal Warehouse Associates, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics and distribution team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Associates
Location: Junction City, KS
Pay Range: $17.60 - $18.60/hr
Shift: 1st, 2nd and weekend (Fri - Sat - Sun) shift available
What's the Job?
-
Accurately load and unload freight safely and efficiently
-
Sort merchandise according to purchase order (PO) and SKU
-
Use RF guns to locate and select merchandise for shipment to stores
-
Scan boxes, open cases, and place items on the correct conveyor for sorting
-
Pack customer orders, place correct shipping labels, and prepare packages for shipment
What's Needed?
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Minimum of 6 months of previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
-
Ability to operate RF scanning devices accurately
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift weights up to 40 pounds
