Job Title: Financial Applications Systems Domain Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary Finance Systems Domain Architect to lead the definition and management of the overall financial system architecture. In this role, you will champion the convergence of IT and business, ensuring the adoption of an integrated technology and information stack aligning with our client's business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Partner with business leadership, IT leaders, and Enterprise Architecture to manage the Finance architecture, supporting the vision, strategy, and execution to meet business requirements.

- Develop an integrated view of Finance capabilities and processes using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and industry best practices.

- Provide consulting and technology recommendations for fintech transformation initiatives, maturing existing capabilities, or enabling new capabilities.

- Make accountable Finance domain architecture decisions to support fintech investments.

- Manage the overall Finance domain technology roadmap aligned with the OneSHW business strategy.

- Facilitate the definition and publication of standards, best practices, capabilities, Finance roadmap synchronized with the overall enterprise future state architecture.

- Create conceptual and logical models following enterprise guidance to describe the Finance domain and inform the physical design of related projects.

- Provide guidance on streamlining business processes and technologies enabled for Finance to support a vertically integrated business model.

- Collaborate with Finance and DT innovation teams to identify opportunities for bringing new innovations (Automation, Fintech, and other emerging technologies) to support the overall digital business strategy.

Qualifications:

Position Requirements:

Formal Education:

- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Finance, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.

- Master's degree in a related field is a plus.

Knowledge & Experience:

- 12+ years of IT experience.

- 6+ years of Financial IT Systems Architecture experience in a complex Finance ecosystem with complex high-tech environments.

- 6+ years' experience in Finance, Treasury, and Finance Reporting solutions.

- 5+ years of experience in software development.

- Current hands-on experience with industry-leading financial tools supporting the Finance technologies lifecycle.

- Experience assessing complex problems and breaking them down into simple solutions.

- Understanding of modern technologies, platforms, and development practices for digital transformation.

- Understanding of core finance business processes, management, and external reporting requirements.

- Understanding of architecture and design concepts with the ability to set and drive long-term technology and application roadmaps.

- Experience with a hypothesis-driven approach to turn customer insights into actionable business and product requirements.

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and technologies.

- Experience with modern integration patterns, techniques, and technologies.

- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

- Comprehensive knowledge of facilitation and organization change management.

- In-depth experience with driving technology transformation initiatives.

Preferred:

- Oracle application implementation experience with various financial modules.
