Harvest Truck Driver-Yard Labor (Columbus, OH)

Details:
  • Pay rate: $21/ hour
  • Shift: 1st shift, 7am- 3:30pm Monday- Friday
  • During the months of October and November there will be a need for some Overtime after normal hours and some weekend work as well.
  • Temporary contract position with Raise with potential for fulltime with ADM.
  • Completion of Background Check required before offer.

Raise in partnership with ADM are seeking to hire a Harvest Truck Driver-Yard Labor in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Dump and load trucks•
  • Assist with grain handling•
  • General housekeeping duties•
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends•
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed•
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Harvest position, seasonal support to end of Harvest in mid to late November.
Job Preference:
  • Preferred experience operating manual transmission trucks.
  • Drives Semi truck/trailer to on site location, no CDL required as no driving will go outside site •
  • Maintains truck log accounting to state and federal regulations•
  • Cleans, inspects, and services vehicle
Job Requirements:
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures•
Educational Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent is preferred•
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance•
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc), lift up to 50 lbs unassisted•
