Key Responsibilities

• Execute diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety, communicating each step with empathy and precision
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical records system

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred: Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography training program

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
