Job Title: Python Backend Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months (Long term)
Implementation Partner: Infosys
End Client: To be disclosed

JD:
  • 7-10 years professional software engineering experience, with a significant portion building backend systems.
  • Strong, demonstrable Python expertise (production code, idiomatic use, performance profiling).
  • Experience designing and building distributed systems and real-time pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one streaming/messaging framework (Kafka, MQTT, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Practical experience integrating or deploying AI/ML models into backend services (model serving, batching, inference pipelines).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), plus CI/CD tooling and practices.
  • Solid knowledge of REST/gRPC APIs and microservices architecture patterns.
  • Good understanding of observability practices: logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with RFID/IoT systems, reader SDKs or protocols (EPC Gen2, LLRP)
  • Background in signal processing, sensor fusion or working with noisy telemetry.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and managed services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and edge-computing deployments.
  • Prior work on multi-modal fusion (e.g., combining Computer Vision with other sensors).
  • Experience with ML feature stores, model monitoring, and MLOps tools.
  • Experience with Java, C++ or Go for performance-sensitive components.
