WORK REQUIREMENTS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
Education/Certification/Licensure:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Minnesota driver's license (Class D) and acceptable driving record for insurability by the District's insurance carrier, and to meet state requirements
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers License with a school bus and passenger endorsement - we have in house training
- Ability to pass a federally mandated drug/alcohol screen
- Successful completion of the school driver training programs and courses established by the state and/or school district
Applicant must have a good driving record, be able to pass a drug and alcohol test, and pass a background check. Applicant must also be dependable with a good work ethic. Training will be provided to acquire a school bus drivers license.
New Prague Area Schools is a consistently growing district of 4,100 students, Pre K through 12. The district is located about 45 miles southwest of the Twin Cities. The district serves the students and community members of the New Prague, Elko New Market, Lonsdale area, as well as several other communities.
