ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Cardiovascular Technologist Level I for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Cardiovascular TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelOpportunity: Cardiovascular Technologist - Cardiovascular Technologist I Job Details: • Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor • On-call requirement of approximately 8 shifts per month with 30-minute response time required • Must have level 1 experience (level 2 may be considered) • Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders • Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures • Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and quality standards • Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting • Perform quality control checks, equipment cleaning, and maintenance per manufacturer guidelines • Work in various care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient practices, and diagnostic centers • Required education: Associate's degree or higher from CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program, JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program, or completion of Paramedic training • Required certifications: AHA BLS and must meet ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography eligibility within 12 months or complete Paramedic training within 12 months • Must demonstrate ability to work independently, multi-task, and remain calm in stressful situations • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cardiovascular/radiologic technologies required Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive cardiovascular and diagnostic services.
