The CST will assist obstetricians and the L&D surgical team by setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies; maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures; passing instruments and sutures; anticipating the needs of the surgical team; and performing surgical counts before, during, and after procedures. The role also includes assisting with patient positioning, skin preparation, draping, specimen handling, and post-procedure room turnover. Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures Perform surgical counts before, during, and after procedures Assist with patient positioning and draping Handle and label surgical specimens according to protocol Operate and troubleshoot basic OR equipment as needed Clean, disinfect, and restock the operating room after surgeries Follow infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and OR staffRequirement: 2 years of previous experience required1 year travel experience required BLS (AHA) required NBSTSA required EMR: EPIC required About 3B Healthcare Inc.At 3B Healthcare Inc., we are proud to be a leading force in US healthcare staffing, committed to providing exceptional workforce solutions.
