WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Surgical TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hoursEmployment Type: Local ContractWCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Great Barrington, MA.  Job Function: Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy Prepare patients for surgery as requested Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation Take inventory and order surgical supplies as needed   Job Requirements: Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program   Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) BLS preferred (American Heart Association) 6-12 months experience as a Surgical Technologist       Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
