Responsibilities Position is in the Adult Surgery department of a Level 1 trauma hospitalDay shift schedule with five 8-hour shifts per weekPerioperative nursing care for adult patients undergoing operative or invasive proceduresWork involves direct and indirect nursing care in an acute operating room environmentThe RN Circulator plans, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care for patients with potentially compromised self-care during surgeryAccountable for ongoing evaluation and documentation throughout the perioperative processIndividualizes patient care based on health status, age, and procedureAssignment is not open to local candidates residing within a 50-mile radiusMust be able to work effectively as part of a surgical teamScrub attire in accordance with hospital policy Requirements Active RN license in Oklahoma or a current multistate compact RN licenseCurrent AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredAssociate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program requiredMinimum of one year experience in an acute operating room settingAt least six months of Level 1 trauma experience requiredKnowledge of AORN Standards and ability to coordinate perioperative care Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUsGenerous Housing AllowanceTravel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyTraveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-659289.
