Responsibilities Work in a long-term care Medical Surgical unitDay shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00Staff Development Coordinator responsibilities within a nursing and rehab centerRequired to be available for direct patient care as needed and assume on-call nurse responsibilities per policyResponsible for orienting new employees and scheduling educational in-services for nursing staffProvide annual skills day training for nurses and nursing assistantsEnsure all nursing licenses and certifications are up to date and renewals are processedInvestigate incidents and medication errors, and monitor infections within the facilityMay provide direct patient care and support as neededMust be able to work holidays per unit requirementsLocals are accepted at the regular rate Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required at the time of considerationSPICE certification requiredLong-term care (LTC) nursing experience requiredMinimum of one year current experience relevant to the Med/Surg positionDocumentation of work experience within the past 3 years requiredCurrent license with no pending actionsTwo supervisory references required Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUsGenerous Housing AllowanceTravel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyTraveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-665065.
