Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Senior Product Owner, AI & Data Strategy to help define, build, and scale enterprise AI products while advancing the trusted data foundations that enable those solutions to succeed. Summary: This is a senior-level individual contributor opportunity for an experienced product leader who can bridge strategy and execution, identify high-value AI opportunities, and partner across Product, Technology, Data, Architecture, Governance, and Business teams to deliver measurable outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Define and execute AI product strategies, roadmaps, and measurable business outcomes
- Evaluate, prioritize, and guide enterprise AI initiatives based on customer value, business impact, data readiness, technical feasibility, and risk
- Lead product discovery, experimentation, MVP development, launch planning, adoption, and continuous improvement efforts
- Translate strategic objectives into well-defined product backlogs, features, user stories, and success metrics
- Partner with data teams to improve data quality, governance, accessibility, lineage, and AI readiness
- Incorporate responsible AI principles, including privacy, compliance, security, governance, and human oversight requirements into product design
- Collaborate on AI platform capabilities and emerging AI-driven innovations across the enterprise
- Develop executive-level business cases, roadmap recommendations, performance scorecards, and strategic communications
- Drive stakeholder alignment and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams
- Measure product success through adoption, operational efficiency, productivity improvements, quality enhancements, and risk reduction
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, digital products, data products, analytics, or related disciplines
- Proven success leading product strategy, roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery for complex enterprise products or platforms
- Experience delivering AI-powered, machine learning, advanced analytics, intelligent automation, or workflow solutions
- Experience supporting organizational change management and user adoption initiatives
- Working knowledge of: Generative AI; Large Language Models (LLMs); Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG); AI agents; Prompt engineering; Model evaluation; AI observability
- Strong understanding of enterprise data management practices, including: Data governance; Data quality; Data lineage; Metadata management; Privacy controls; Access management
- Strong analytical thinking, prioritization, and business case development skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Relevant certifications in product management, AI, data management, Snowflake, Salesforce, or Microsoft technologies
- 8+ years of experience spanning product strategy, AI product delivery, and data strategy
- Experience within financial services, wealth management, broker-dealer, RIA, or other highly regulated environments
- Experience with modern AI and data platforms such as: Snowflake AI; Salesforce Data Cloud; Salesforce Agentforce; Einstein AI; Azure AI Services; Comparable enterprise AI platforms
- Exposure to AI governance, privacy, security, model risk management, and responsible AI programs
