Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by providing essential psychological services to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. As a School Psychologist on a contract basis, you’ll work within an engaging and collaborative educational environment, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive. Apply your expertise to perform assessments, develop interventions, and collaborate with educators and families to cultivate positive learning experiences.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Familiarity with creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Strong understanding of RTI/MTSS frameworks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability and comfort working in varied school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning through standardized assessments and observations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to identify students in need of support
- Develop data-driven recommendations for educational planning, interventions, and accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise regarding evaluation results and strategies
- Support crisis intervention services as needed
- Deliver consultative services to staff and families regarding behavioral and mental health topics
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for all students
