Intro
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Yard Leader to work with a leading company in the logistics sector in Detroit. This role involves managing yard activities and ensuring that both internal and customer requirements are met.
Shift patterns
- Day and afternoon shifts are available.
Pay rates
- 19.00 USD hourly
Essential requirements for Yard Leader
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 year of team leader experience.
- Prior inspection or supervisory experience.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities for Yard Leader
- Lead and manage a team of 12 employees in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee yard management processes and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Train team members on standardized inspection processes and equipment usage.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation and records.
- Implement and uphold the Quality Management System.
