Job Summary
Ultrasonographer General in a healthcare facility located in the United States. This role involves performing ultrasound examinations in various clinical settings, supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients. The position requires adherence to established protocols and collaboration with medical staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Job Details
- Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) - sonography certification or ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), Associate's degree in Applied Science with a focus on ultrasound. Must have at least 2 years of prior travel experience and a minimum of 2 years in ultrasound technology.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Must work weekends and holidays, with the expectation to work 2 of 3 holidays.
- Responsibilities: Conduct ultrasound procedures using GE and Siemens equipment, support patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Additional Information: May float to a free-standing emergency department approximately 12 miles round trip as needed. Must have prior travel experience and appropriate credentials on file at the time of submission.
