Dialysis RN Job Details Location: Burlington, VT (float to St. Albans & Berlin as needed) Assignment Length: 6 weeks (12/11/2025 – 1/22/2026) Shift: 8-hour day shifts (flexible to work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; flexible start times) Hours per Week: 36-40 Schedule: Monday to Sunday, including some Saturdays; no block schedules On-Call: None Setting: Outpatient Dialysis Clinic Estimated Weekly Salary: $2450-$2620 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state) Current AHA BLS certification Minimum 2 years of recent dialysis RN experience in an outpatient or clinical setting Prior travel nursing experience preferred Ability to float to St. Albans and Berlin dialysis clinics as needed Flexible with scheduling and shift lengths Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not available) Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires from November to April Complete work history required (including bed count, EMR experience, facility type, etc.) Dialysis Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients receiving outpatient dialysis treatments Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after dialysis procedures Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes Float to additional dialysis units in St. Albans and Berlin as needed Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and clinical best practices Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including willingness to work some Saturdays Discover the charm of Burlington, Vermont—enjoy a thriving arts scene, farm-to-table dining, and easy access to Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains.
