Responsibilities Work in an oncology clinic specializing in breast cancer patient careDay shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pmAssigned to the breast medical oncology team for comprehensive patient careFloating may occur to other units if required by staffing needsNo weekend or holiday shifts required for this assignmentProvide multidisciplinary, compassionate care to breast cancer patients and their families across prevention, screening, treatment, and survivorshipEducate and coordinate care for patients with breast cancer or related conditionsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, oncologists, genetic counselors, and advanced practice providersParticipate in a structured department-specific orientation, typically one weekFirst-time travelers are accepted for some unitsCandidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not acceptedPass/fail testing and competency renewal for telemetry are required Requirements Active WI or compact RN license in hand at time of applicationMinimum of two years of recent acute care RN experience in oncology within the past three yearsExperience with oncology nursing and live answer telephone triageCompetency in targeted patient assessmentsMust pass a telemetry exam prior to start, with strict pass/fail criteria Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUsGenerous Housing AllowanceTravel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyTraveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-647527.
