This role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging and treatment, operating specialized imaging equipment, and collaborating with physicians to support patient care and research.ResponsibilitiesAdminister radiopharmaceuticals and perform nuclear medicine imaging proceduresOperate and maintain specialized equipment to capture functional images of organs and tissuesEnsure radiation safety protocols for patients and staffExplain procedures clearly and compassionately to patientsDocument imaging processes and maintain accurate recordsCollaborate with physicians to interpret results and support diagnostic decisionsRequirementsMinimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienceCardiology imaging experience requiredNMTCB certification requiredBLS certification preferredFamiliarity with Cerner EMR systemFacility DetailsNonbillable Hours: First 12 hours for bill rates over $40/hrOT/Holiday/Callback Rate: 1.1x regular rateExtension Discount: $1/hr on initial extensionLocal Traveler Policy: 10% rate reduction for candidates residing within 35 miles of the facilityLet me know if you'd like this adapted for a different platform or formatted for internal use.About The Judge GroupJudge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizationsacross the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied healthprofessionals, locum tenens, and more.
