Responsibilities Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit assignmentNight shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts13-week contract assignmentUses EPIC EMR systemPrimary responsibilities include caring for laboring mothers, monitoring fetal and maternal status, and assisting with delivery and newborn careLocal candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelersAll required licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration; pending documentation will not be acceptedAdheres to institutional tenure policies regarding maximum assignment durations and required breaksCompliance with COVID and Flu vaccination requirements may be necessary Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of considerationGraduate of an accredited nursing programMinimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience requiredCurrent BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificationsPreferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related fieldPreferred: At least 5 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery within the last 2 yearsPreferred: 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery or High Risk OB experience within the last 2 yearsExperience with EPIC EMR preferredLast 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUsGenerous Housing AllowanceTravel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyTraveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-627149.
