Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

  • Formal software engineering training or certification, plus 3+ years of applied experience
  • Strong hands-on Android development experience with Kotlin, Android SDK, and modern architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture
  • Experience building user interfaces with Jetpack Compose and/or XML, including accessibility and responsive layout practices
  • Experience with mobile testing practices and frameworks, covering unit, instrumentation, and UI tests, along with troubleshooting complex issues
  • Experience implementing or improving CI/CD for mobile applications, including automated builds, quality gates, and release processes
  • Disciplined use of approved AI coding assistants such as Claude AI or equivalent, with verification and secure usage practices
Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain Android features using Kotlin and Java, delivering high-quality experiences across devices and operating system versions
  • Lead implementation for moderately complex initiatives, including UI flows, data and state management, offline and error handling, while contributing to technical design decisions
  • Integrate with backend services such as REST and GraphQL, implement secure authentication flows, and ensure safe handling of local storage and network communications
  • Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit, instrumentation, and UI tests, while improving app stability through crash reduction and performance tuning
  • Drive CI/CD enhancements for Android builds, including linting, static analysis, test automation, signing, and release workflows
  • Use approved AI-assisted tools to support refactoring, test generation, and documentation, with thorough validation
