This unit holds individuals for 23 hours for additional observation.Unit Description:Trach care, bariatrics, nocturnal vents, stroke care 1:5 for SD/PCU; 1:6 if floated to acute care. MSD cares for PD patients, CSD cares for stroke patients, SSD cares for surgical patients.  Experience and Requirements:Must have a MIN. of 2 years’ experience working on a Step Down/PCU unit. Contract Length: 6 weeks Specialty: Must be true STEP-DOWN RN- M/S tele are not accepted Weekend: Every other Holiday: 1 per contract RTO: no more than 3 days License: NJ or compact Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA only) Float RequirementsNurse must be willing to float to ED Hold and other units within specialtyMedical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
