Take the next step in your Speech-Language Pathology career and make a lasting impact on K-12 students for the upcoming 2026/27 academic year. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services in a school setting near Hammond, IN. The caseload ranges from kindergarten through twelfth grade, working with approximately 85-90 students; all evaluations will be managed by another designated SLP, allowing you to concentrate on therapy and intervention.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Active Indiana SLP License required
- Previous experience in school-based settings or working with K-12 populations is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to professional growth and development
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students on your caseload
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Monitor progress and maintain timely, thorough documentation
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing consultation with colleagues
