Responsibilities Work in an interventional radiology department serving outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU populationsPerform advanced IR procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, peripheral and vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdomen and pelvis, and extremity interventionsUtilize PACS, C-arm, contrast administration, and biopsiesDeploy pushable and detachable coils, use micro catheters and wires, Snare Kits, and injector systems such as ACISTEpic EMR experience requiredDay shift schedule: 4x10 hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)Call rotation averages 10 days per month including at least one weekendNo floating required outside assigned unitFirst-time travelers are accepted for this positionMust be available to work 4 out of 8 major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year holidaysRTO requests must be submitted with the application; additional requests considered at manager's discretionScrubs are providedFree onsite parking is availableTravelers must be clean-shaven for FIT testing and OSHA respirator clearanceAll travelers must take a 6 month break if returning after 1 year assignmentPre-employment modules required and completed prior to start Requirements Minimum 2 years recent experience in interventional radiology with outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU populationsCurrent BLS and ARRT certifications requiredExperience with PACS, C-arm, contrast, biopsies, stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, drainages, vascular and neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvic procedures, and extremities requiredProficient in use of micro catheters, micro wires, pushable/detachable coils, Snare Kits, and injector systemsEpic EMR experience requiredMust live more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligibleLicense required if applicablePending state license may be accepted at manager's discretion Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUsGenerous Housing AllowanceTravel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyTraveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-636647.
