GQR Healthcare is seeking a LPN / LVN Correctional for a travel job in Beaumont, Texas.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: CorrectionalDiscipline: LPN / LVNStart Date: 01/24/2026Duration: 13 weeks48 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, days, nightsEmployment Type: TravelJob Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Days or Nights - Corrections Join our team as an LVN for day or night shifts in a Texas correctional facility, providing vital healthcare within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.Responsibilities:• Provide nursing care and administer medications.• Perform IV therapy and collaborate with healthcare teams.• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage tasks efficiently.• Float between units within a 10-30 minute radius as needed.Schedule:• Shifts: 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM or 5:45 AM - 6:15 PM.• 36/48-hour weekly rotation with advance scheduling.• Overtime opportunities based on performance.Qualifications:• Valid Compact or Texas LVN license.• BLS and IV Therapy Certification.• 2 years LVN experience, 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg required.• Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych is a plus.• Ability to work independently in a correctional setting.Additional Information:• COVID-19 vaccination required, exemptions accepted.• Orientation provided after credentialing and state clearance.This role offers ongoing employment with potential extensions.
