Overview: Under the direction of a radiologist, performs technical pediatric radiographic procedures without constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Participates in department and hospital LEAN improvement activities that align with the five True North Pillars. Responsibilities: Performs radiographic procedures per department protocol. Able to utilize and be completely competent with fluoroscopy, C-arm, portable exams, bone density and all diagnostic equipment.Performs essential RIS/HIS functions. Performs and maintains LEAN practices as it relates to Patient Safety and Quality.Assists radiologist in all appropriate procedures.Maintains accurate inventory control functions. Maintains all appropriate paperwork.Additional responsibilities for 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Technologist 5:30 AM Technologist (5:30 AM person). General Diagnostic Call Technologist. The pay range for this job begins at $28.25/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
