HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Apple Valley, California.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Ultrasound TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 01/12/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, days, nightsEmployment Type: TravelTitle: X-Ray TechLocation: Apple Valley, CA 92307Duration: 13 weeksShift: Variable 4x10 – Day & Night shifts (self-scheduled by seniority; may include 04:00, 06:00, 07:00, 09:00, 13:00, 18:00, 20:00)Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:Perform a wide range of diagnostic X-ray procedures including abdomen/GI, lower and upper extremities, spine/pelvis, fluoroscopy, enema studies, mobile/surgical (C-arm), and head imaging.Provide imaging services in adult acute care, ED, ICU, NICU, OR, and outpatient settings.Manage a high-volume workload of 30–35 exams per shift, with a very busy Emergency Department being the primary area.Support orthopedic and spine OR cases; work alongside 7–8 techs within a 24-hour period and students from training programs.Use GE equipment, PACS, and preferred systems such as Ziehm C-Arm and Fuji.Prepare/administer contrast media as needed.Care for a broad patient population: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Work every other weekend; may exceed based on facility needs.Float to meet unit needs; no on-call required.Charting: EPIC (preferred).Self-scheduling based on seniority; block scheduling not guaranteed.Required Certifications:ARRT (R)BLSCalifornia LicenseFluoro Permit (preferred)Experience Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience requiredFirst-time travelers acceptedAbout HonorVet TechnologiesHonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering HeroesFounded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
