Responsibilities Position is in an acute Orthopedics unit within a hospital setting12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, for an 8-week contractPatient population consists of orthopedic and post-surgical patientsUse of Epic EMR is requiredMay require floating to other departments as neededMay be placed on-call during scheduled shiftsPerform independent and delegated medical functions in line with nursing standardsProvide comprehensive care to orthopedic patients including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationEngage in patient health teaching, counseling, and therapy planningDocument care in compliance with hospital and regulatory requirementsReturning employees must have a break in service of at least one year from any Intermountain facility to be eligible Requirements Active CO or compact RN license is required and must be in handMinimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Orthopedics is requiredGraduation from an accredited School of Nursing with ASN required; BSN preferredCurrent AHA BLS certification is required and must not expire before start dateExperience with Epic charting is requiredNo pending licenses at time of consideration Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUsGenerous Housing AllowanceTravel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyTraveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-646793.
