In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations using non-ionizing, high-frequency sound waves to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and excellent patient care.Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular studiesOperate ultrasound and PACS systems; ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies according to hospital policyCommunicate effectively with patients to provide comfort, explain procedures, and obtain cooperationEvaluate images for diagnostic quality and notify providers of any abnormalitiesMaintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environmentQualifications:Required: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)Required: BLS certification through the American Heart AssociationEducation: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Sonography programExperience: At least 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred (abdominal, pelvic, and vascular)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsPreferred Certifications:ARDMS (AB), ARDMS (OB/GYN), ARDMS (B), RT(VS)(ARRT), RT(BS)(ARRT)Working Conditions:Regular exposure to biohazards, infectious agents, and ultrasonic equipmentUse of protective gear including gowns, gloves, and face protection requiredWhy Join Us:You’ll be part of a collaborative imaging team dedicated to providing exceptional diagnostic care and advancing medical excellence.Medical Solutions Direct Hire Job ID #932283.About Medical Solutions Direct HireAt Medical Solutions, we’re people who care, helping people who care.
