Experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) – PRN (W-2)
Location: Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY
Employment Type: PRN (W-2), In-Person
Compensation: $65–$68 per hour
- Current New York State Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) license
- Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 3,600 hours of prior qualifying NP practice experience required
- Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance required. Providers will also be added to the practice’s professional liability policy, as applicable.
- Current DEA registration preferred, but not required
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Perform comprehensive women’s health assessments and annual wellness examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions
- Provide preventive care, cervical cancer screenings, STI screening and treatment, contraception counseling, menopause management, and patient education
- Order, interpret, and manage appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete electronic medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, coordinated patient care
- Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and organizational policies and standards of practice
