Texas Healthcare Job Details Location: Amarillo, TX 79106 Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Healthcare Setting: Hospital Operating Room Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: December 22, 2025 – End: March 23, 2026) Nursing Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts/week (07:00 - 17:30) Weekly Hours: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020 - $2070 On-Call: Rotating call days required Scrubs: Provided Equipment: Pyxis, EPIC EMR Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state BLS certification required Experience with Epic EMR preferred Ability to circulate and scrub in the operating room Fluency in English required Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills OR RN Responsibilities Provide safe, effective perioperative nursing care for surgical patients Circulate and scrub for surgical cases including General, Orthopedics, Urology, Endoscopy/Laparoscopic, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry, Transplant, and Gynecology Preferred experience in Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatric, and ENT surgeries Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and clinical support staff Participate in rotating on-call schedule Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR Uphold the hospital's mission, vision, and values in daily nursing practice Join our healthcare team in Amarillo, Texas and enjoy competitive pay, professional development, and the unique lifestyle of the Texas Panhandle.
