About Smartcat Smartcat is building the future of work, where human expertise meets digital teammates to drive 10x to 1000x productivity gains for the world’s leading enterprises.
Agentic AI. We enable enterprises to build high-performing hybrid workforces made up of both humans and AI agents. These AI agents aren’t generic copilots. They’re fully trained digital teammates that learn from your best people, your content, and your business strategy—ready to get to work from day one.
Our platform combines generative AI, human-in-the-loop workflows, and a living Enterprise Skill Graph that continuously learns and improves. Whether you're launching a product globally, onboarding new hires, translating learning content, or aligning legal teams across regions, Smartcat turns knowledge into action and action into scale.
Over 1,000 companies, including 20% of the Fortune 500, rely on Smartcat to bring their business to the world—instantly, accurately, and in every language. This role is ideal for someone who loves AI, thinks in systems, and enjoys building practical solutions that drive measurable impact. You’ll be one of our first AI Strategists, building custom AI solutions from scratch for Smartcat’s largest strategic customers. You’ll work in a pod with a dedicated Strategic Account Executive and Technical Account Manager, and sometimes a Forward Deployed Engineer. You don’t need to be a software engineer, but you do need real fluency with modern AI tools, fast experimentation, and a builder’s instinct. You’ll engage senior executives to define where AI creates value, then build the agents and workflows that deliver it, and bring customer insights back to Product.
Design and build custom AI workflows and agents from scratch for Smartcat’s strategic customers, translating each customer’s ambiguous business problems into working, scalable, measurable AI solutions that drive adoption and expand the relationship.

Design, build, and deploy new custom AI solutions and agents for customers, going beyond reconfiguring existing workflows

Own customer engagements end to end, from ideation through delivery, ensuring long-term adoption and measurable business outcomes
Work as part of a customer pod with the Strategic Account Executive, Technical Account Manager, and Forward Deployed Engineer
Train and empower customer teams to use and iterate on the AI workflows you build, and drive onboarding and change management so solutions become part of their day-to-day operations
Act as the voice of the customer, surfacing needs, patterns, and insights that inform Smartcat’s product roadmap
Contribute playbooks, reusable solution patterns, and case studies, and help drive AI-first thinking across the team
Learn Smartcat’s platform, AI agent capabilities, and the types of AI workflows customers already run
Meet your pod partners (Strategic Account Executives, Technical Account Managers, Forward Deployed Engineers) and understand how each role contributes
Get oriented on your assigned strategic accounts: business goals, key stakeholders, current workflows, and open opportunities
Get set up with the team’s AI tooling and development environment

Experience in a customer-facing AI, solutions, consulting, or technical role, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise environments
A track record of building AI-powered workflows, agents, or automations that solved real business problems, not just integrations
An AI-first way of working: real hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Cline, or similar (“vibe coding”), used as the default way you build, test, and solve problems
Hands-on experience building with Python, along with AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Cline; SQL or data analysis is a plus
