Responsibilities Work in a CT department performing high quality CT exams on patient populations from newborns to geriatricsSetting includes inpatient, outpatient (Friday only), emergency room, and scheduled interventional cases (Friday only)Shift schedule is Friday through Sunday, 3x12 hour days, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PMOn-call rotation Monday through Thursday, every 4-5 weeks, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM to support overnight or high-volume situationsNo floating between service lines or sister facilitiesUses Epic as the preferred EMR (Epic experience preferred)Facility is a Level III Trauma, acute care hospital with 286 staffed bedsDuties include inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, and scheduled interventional CT proceduresFirst-time travelers are acceptedAll requested time off must be included at the time of application and is subject to approval based on facility needsCandidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel pay; locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis at a different rateApplicants must provide a valid driver’s license and Social Security card for considerationTeal top and black bottom scrubs requiredPre-employment online modules must be completed prior to startPrevious permanent or PRN staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a travelerDuring hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams Requirements Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience requiredGraduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or completion of student clinical rotation with ARRT certification by end of rotationMust have current ARRT (CT), BLS (AHA), and SCRQSA (CT)South Carolina state license required and must be active at time of start (license required if applicable)Ability to start IVs and administer contrast media requiredExperience performing CT-guided biopsies and use of PACS requiredRadiation badge must be provided by the agencyEpic charting experience preferred Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUsGenerous Housing AllowanceTravel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyTraveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-647994.
