Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology department at a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma and Teaching facilityDay shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PMWeekend shifts required every other weekend and call requiredFloat to other units within scope and to sister campuses may be required depending on facility needsPatient population includes a range of acute care cases requiring interventional radiology proceduresUses Epic for charting; Epic experience requiredScrubs are provided by the facilityFirst-time travelers are acceptedMain duties include performing a full range of interventional radiology procedures in an acute care settingFlexibility to float as department needs arise, including between sister campusesOnly one contract extension allowed for travelers after initial assignmentHoliday coverage may be required; only one holiday off can be approvedAll time-off requests must be submitted with application and are subject to manager discretionCallouts for scheduled shifts may require make-up as determined by the departmentDress code is facility-provided scrubs Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology technologist experience requiredACLS certification required prior to startMust pass EKG exam prior to startState or compact licensure required; license required if applicableNo license or background hits approved in the past yearLocals not accepted within 50 miles radius of the facilityMust complete required pre-start modulesReturn staff must be gone for at least one year to be eligible Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUsGenerous Housing AllowanceTravel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyTraveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-638568.
