Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment Location: Clinton, IA 52732 (Iowa nursing jobs) Assignment Type: Travel nurse contract Unit: Labor and Delivery Start Date: November 10, 2025 End Date: February 8, 2026 Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2000 - $2050 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Iowa or compact state) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a clinical setting Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills Completion of all onboarding requirements (background check, competency testing, health screenings, etc.) Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Provide expert patient care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods Monitor patient status, administer medications, and assist with labor and delivery procedures Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards Discover the benefits of travel nursing in Clinton, Iowa—enjoy riverfront parks, local shops, and a friendly Midwestern community.
