Job Descriptio n

The ideal candidate combines deep securitized products domain expertise with strong engineering and leadership skills. They are comfortable discussing OAS, prepayment, and structured finance models with traders and risk managers in one meeting, reviewing Python or Java implementations with developers in the next, and partnering with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams on platform architecture and controls. They possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and thrive in entrepreneurial environments where they can help scale technology capabilities alongside a growing business.

Depth & Scope:

• Performs complex to difficult technical tasks independently
• Advanced knowledge of technology, tools, various programming languages, processes, and procedures
• Extensive knowledge of the business, enterprise technology areas and / or the organization
• Key subject matter expert who consults with and may lead clients and/or project teams on multiple aspects of development issues
• Works as the senior or lead developer and coaches/guides team members within area of expertise
• Resolves highly complex and multifaceted development related problems

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of Capital Markets technology experience with significant exposure to Fixed Income and Securitized Products.
• Deep knowledge of MBS, CMO, CMBS, and whole loan trading and securitization businesses.
• Strong understanding of securitized products risk analytics, including OAS, dv01 and duration measures, prepayment and loss models, deal modeling, and tranche analytics.
• Experience with PolyPaths/Numerix and Intex strongly preferred.
• Strong programming and technical skills, including Python, Java, SQL, and infrastructure/security configuration.
• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Trading, Risk, Operations, and Technology stakeholders.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in both leadership and hands-on technical capacities within a small, high-performing team environment.
