Licensed Vocational Nurse Job Details:
Schedule: Night and Day shifts 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am /on site Location: Houston, TX Temporary to hire Starting Pay Rate: Starting at $28.00/ hour + (based on experience) Benefits: ACA Healthcare Compliant Healthcare Benefits, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k), referral bonus and other incentives Licensed Vocational Nurse Responsibilities: * Coordinate and manage medication clinics, including medication administration and documentation with inmates.* Provide support to prescribing providers during visits and follow-up.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
* Maintain accurate and timely medical records and nursing documentation in compliance with state and facility guidelines.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, to ensure coordinated care.
* Promote a respectful, compassionate, and supportive atmosphere. Education Requirements: * Minimum of 2+ years of LVN experience required.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Active Texas LVN license required. Education Requirements: * SAMA Training Required
* CPR/BLS certification (AHA required)
* Immunizations: Hep B titer, TDAP, MMR, Varicella ( 2 Dose of titer)
* TB Test
