The therapist must safely operate high-voltage machinery, promptly report equipment malfunctions, and consistently ensure patient safety and comfort. Professionalism, precision, and adherence to radiation safety protocols are essential. Key Responsibilities: Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist and in alignment with established standards Accurately input and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record Interpret computerized treatment plans correctly Monitor patients daily for treatment reactions and promptly report concerns to the Radiation Oncology Nurse or Oncologist Assist with complex problem-solving related to technical or equipment issues Maintain professional conduct and support the well-being of radiation oncology patients Follow all radiation safety regulations from NYSDOH, ARRT, and ACRO Equipment Used: Varian TrueBeam Varian 21iX Presented by: HumanEdge Health – Connecting therapists to their next great travel opportunity.
