Candidates will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapy interventions to promote optimal recovery and rehabilitative health in a variety of patient populations. Required Qualifications: Years of Experience: 2 years preferred Certifications: BLS, State License Preferred Skills: Pediatric therapy Activities of Daily Living Autism intervention Sensory Integrative Testing/Treatment Wheelchair Evaluation & Positioning Adaptive Equipment Assessment (Adult and Pediatric) Cognitive Assessment Work Settings: Adult Outpatient Hand Clinic Pediatric Outpatient Various other settings including rehabilitative care for arthritis, stroke, hand injury, and neurological disorders Patient Population: Adolescents Adults Pediatrics Geriatrics Daily Responsibilities: Perform patient evaluations and assessments Create and implement individualized treatment plans Conduct reassessments to track progress Provide patient and family education regarding therapy plans Facilitate pre-discharge planning to ensure patients are ready for transition Professional Development: Candidates should have a solid understanding of therapy modalities and manual skills. Continuous education and skill enhancement are encouraged. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside Physical Therapy staff to provide comprehensive care.
