Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery Location: West Union, IA 52175 (Iowa nursing jobs) Facility Type: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital Unit: OB (Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: September 22, 2025 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour day shifts (4:30 AM – 5:00 PM) Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend, rotating holidays Float Requirements: May float to Med/Surg as needed Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1990-$2130 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in WI or compact state (Iowa RN license accepted) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum 2 years of recent OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience Experience in Critical Access Hospital and Med/Surg settings required Epic charting experience preferred Must begin medical compliance process within 48 hours of offer acceptance (24 hours for quick start) Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients in a low-risk OB setting Monitor and assess mothers and newborns, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the birthing process Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care Float to Med/Surg unit as needed, supporting a diverse patient population Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic (preferred) Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in West Union, Iowa, and make a difference in patient care while advancing your nursing career Benefits401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision About GHRWith over 30 years of healthcare staffing experience, GHR Healthcare is your trusted partner in finding the perfect contract or permanent role in the healthcare industry.
