An ideal candidate has a background in logistics and excellent data driven problem resolution skills. They have the ability to work with external partners/influence others, pull and analyze data with ease, drive process improvements, standardize processes, and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems. This job will require solid communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Engage in daily tactical communication with external vendors (Logistics Service Providers) and internal customers
- Analyze data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform reporting and analysis as needed
- Publish performance metrics to assist with driving business results
- Quickly and efficiently understand the business impact of observed trends and make decisions based on available data
- Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon's transportation operations
- Work with multiple stakeholder teams in the Supply Chain to jointly solve problems and implementing standards
- Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs
- Participate in large projects as a contributor or lead small projects independently

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- 4+ years of supply chain experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Comfortable managing external vendor relationships and interfacing with executive team members
