We are hiring a Sr Technical Maintenance Manager at our frozen pizza manufacturing facility in Florence, KY. In this role you will be a strategic leader of people and all maintenance functions, ensuring the safety of people and food is a top priority

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to ensure that all work and equipment is performed in a safe manner and that all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is worn as necessary and all employees receive the proper safety training in accordance with Company, Local, State, and Federal OSHA rules and regulations. "Leave no space unsafe"
  • Drives daily RCA's to improve equipment reliability and maximize equipment uptime.
  • Leadership and responsibility of maintenance team and functions in a 24/7 facility.
  • Leads and manages the maintenance activities and improvement projects in support of plant operational needs and goals.
  • Supervises the continuous improvement/optimization of the manufacturing processes with a focus on a PM based structure and maximizing asset utilization.
  • Leads, directs, and assists managers and supervisors engaged in the daily operation of the production and maintenance departments. - 4 managers and 2 PE's
  • Lead reliability, capital deployment, and core maintenance teams while collaborating with production, fsq, continuous improvement, and safety departments on resolution of issues concerning facilities and equipment.
  • Balances available interior and exterior resources to provide cost effective solutions while delivering budgetary goals.
  • Fosters exceptional talent through mentor, training and developing supervisors and technicians.
  • Monitors performance of the facility by using reports and data from operations and quality department, and the Manufacturing Execution systems (SAP & equipment monitoring technologies).
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 Years of related experience, leadership in food manufacturing preferred.
  • Bakery, dough processing and/or spiral freezer experience preferred
  • Authentic leader and direct communicator with a strong ownership mentality, building positive relationships at all levels while driving accountability of self and others.
  • Demonstrated organizational ability to handle project management multiple tasks prioritizing is necessary and meeting required deadlines.
  • Proactive in seeking solutions and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Flexibility and hands on leadership with all shifts.
Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $104,625 to $174,375 annually with eligibility for a 20% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Years of Related Experience: 10+ years related technical and leadership experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must possess management/supervisory experience.

Must possess management/supervisory experience. Prior experience in food manufacturing with exposure to USDA/FDA regulations strongly recommended. Related course work in electrical, mechanical or programmable logic controls. Managerial experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Good computer skills utilizing SAP, Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Ability to train all levels of maintenance positions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Good mechanical, people, math, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with people under stress. Demonstrated organizational ability to handle project management, multiple tasks, prioritizing is necessary, and meeting required deadlines. Good communication and effective, positive interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively in a diverse work group. Previous Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required, preferably in the food industry. Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information. Proactive in seeking solutions and continuous improvement opportunities. Willing to be involved as necessary with all shifts.
